Beating the Heat

San Jose had some unusual warm weather with record heat in tipping 103. It was Aiden's first heat wave experience. In a house with no A/C we had to get creative on how to keep cool. Aiden enjoyed a cool washcloth on his forehead. The wash cloth idea was a twofer. We would stick it in the freezer to give little ice crunch to it. Then pull it out and let Aiden munch on it. It felt good on his sore gums. Then the ice cold moved to a cool cold, we put it on his forehead to keep him cool.

Then there's the baby pool remedy for keeping cool. Aiden and Besa enjoyed kicking it pool side this weekend.
